Q. Would my worker come to my school?
A. It would all depend on where you felt most comfortable talking with us.
Q. Will my mum/dad find out what I say to you?
A. What the worker and you discuss in your session will remain confidential, unless the worker believes you are in any danger, in that case the worker will tell you that he/she will have to tell someone else, because your safety comes first.
Q. Will I have to do homework?
A. From time to time your worker will give you some stuff to do at home, however this is likely just to be a worksheet for you to complete for the following week.
Q. How long will you be working with me?
A. Well, each session lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour. We will aim to see you at least once a week.
Q. Does my school need to know I'm working with you?
A. No, unless you want us to tell them or they have contacted us.
Q. What kind of things do we do in the sessions?
A. We aim to make the sessions fun, by doing lots of creative activities and by just talking to you and finding out what it is that we can help you with for you to enjoy school more.
